Emma Santa is a virtual workforce enthusiast who helps online professionals improve their virtual leadership and communication skills so they can achieve maximum productivity and enjoyment from their work. She has been part of a virtual Silicon Valley Startup, Executive Director of a NonProfit with virtual volunteers, and a teleworker for a Fortune 100 company. She is passionate about helping people succeed in the virtual workplace.
Emma has spoken on virtual workforce development at conferences and association events, and hosts a weekly podcast for virtual workers called “View from the Virtual Cube“. She has had the opportunity to interview virtual lawyers in London that help small business owners in Kenya, digital nomads that perform their everyday work as they travel across the globe, and the owners of 100%-virtual software companies.
Emma is an active member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), Project Management Institute (PMI), International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA), ASQ and a former member of the National Speakers Association (NSA). She has a Bachelors Degree from University of Notre Dame de Namur, her Masters in Business Administration from Capella University and is currently pursuing her PhD at Northcentral University with a focus on how virtuality impacts organizational change.
