When I tell someone that I work from home, I can usually see them conjure up an image of me in their mind running after my kids, or doing laundry at the same time I’m attempting to get work done. Or, because I have the option to choose an alternate work-place, that I also choose my own schedule. The fact is that there are many different types of remote work out there. So how do you know which one is the right one for you?
Telework – Usually a full time work-at-home position in which you are a salaried employee for a company.
Flexwork – Similar to telework you are a salaried employee for a company, however you may not work from home all the time. Instead you may find yourself at home Mondays an Fridays, but in the office midweek.
